The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janjan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Valla has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Janjan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Janjan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Janjan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Valla has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Janjan has managed to get both his arms back between Valla's legs - danger averted.
Janjan distracts Valla with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Valla is rocked!
Janjan arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Valla's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
