Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Weenis McGuinty (ranked 4771 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonnie Iskandiar (ranked 495 p4p, 0 weight class). Iskandiar has chosen Bukan Pengemis Cinta as his entrance music. Jonnie Iskandiar will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jonnie Iskandiar!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iskandiar throws out a powerful jab.

It looks like Weenis McGuinty has been cut.

McGuinty definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and McGuinty counters with a nice double leg into side control. Iskandiar won't be happy with that.
McGuinty creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McGuinty with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Iskandiar throws a monster overhand right that drops McGuinty! Iskandiar follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
