PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bleebin Halamucci (ranked 23508 p4p, 5055 weight class) and Tyler Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halamucci throws a combination. Torres tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Halamucci scores with the left hand. Torres knows he should have avoided that one.
Left hook, right uppercut from Halamucci.

Torres shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Halamucci is trying to defend but Torres finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Halamucci wants to control but Torres is keeping busy.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Halamucci is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Torres has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Torres!

Torres walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Halamucci checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Halamucci lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Torres has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Torres and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Halamucci is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Torres can do to turn this around?
Halamucci shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Torres eats them both and turns towards Halamucci to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Torres working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Torres seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Torres is nestled in close to Halamucci, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Halamucci stalks Torres and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Torres's face. Torres staggers backwards, shaken.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Torres checks a leg kick.

Bleebin Halamucci has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Torres.

Halamucci throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Torres.

Torres closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
