Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pavel Sekera (ranked 3078 p4p, 5888 weight class) and Scott Shredder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sekera might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bleed it out. Scott Shredder has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Pavel Sekera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Scott Shredder! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Franklyn Lucas and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shredder is defended easily by Sekera. Shredder throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sekera's waist but Sekera gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shredder off to one side. Shredder dives in and grabs Sekera's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sekera pushes down on Shredder's head and hops out. Pavel Sekera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Shredder. Shredder with a lazy takedown attempt and Sekera counters by clinching up. Sekera gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Sekera slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Sekera tries for a kimura but Shredder is defending well. Sekera tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A lull in the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sekera advances to full mount. Shredder is trying to escape the mount.
Sekera is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Shredder is surviving well by controlling Sekera's body position as best he can. Sekera has control of Shredder's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Shredder regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Shredder wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Shredder is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Sekera has the hooks in. Shredder is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Sekera passes his arm under Shredder's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Shredder taps!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Pavel Sekera! Our winner, Pavel Sekera, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
