Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Austin Weaver (ranked 1429 p4p, 904 weight class) and Fredrik White (ranked 192 p4p, 123 weight class). White has chosen Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Austin Weaver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fredrik White!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White misses with a telegraphed body shot
letting Weaver counter with a right hand.
White's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and White duly obliges.
Fredrik White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weaver waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract White.
White tries to clinch but Weaver is having none of it.
Weaver takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
White throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Weaver counters with a stiff right hand.
White looks to score with a jab to the body but Weaver is just out of range.
White tests Weaver's chin there with a solid looking shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
White scores with a sloppy right hand. Weaver should have avoided that one.
Weaver walks into a straight right hand from White.
Weaver does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The fight stays on the outside here - White looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
White throws an overhand right that lands on Weaver's shoulder, as Weaver tries to avoid the shot.
White throws a series of punches but Weaver moves out of range.

White works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
White cracks Weaver with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

As Weaver backs off White throws a huge counter combo but Weaver manages to avoid it all.
Weaver will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Weaver lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as White backs up against the cage.

With the fighters up against the cage, Weaver throws an elbow but misses.
Weaver blocks a body shot from White.
White swings wildly with an uppercut but Weaver uses good head movement to avoid it.

Weaver wants the takedown. White is fighting it off but Weaver persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in White's guard against the cage.

White pushes Weaver off and scrambles back to his feet.

White is trying to stand up here but Weaver is controlling him well.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if White can do anything to dispel that myth.

White sneaks out the side door and pushes Weaver away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Fredrik White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
White throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
White swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Weaver dives in and scores a takedown into White's guard.
White is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Weaver is controlling him.

White pushes Weaver off and gets back to his feet.

Weaver throws an uppercut from half a mile away. White sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Weaver throws a combination but it was largely blocked by White.
We've been informed that White has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Fredrik White seems to be getting the better of the standup.
White throws a jab when Weaver was well out of range.
White fails with an attempt to clinch.
White throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Weaver throws a strike aimed at the side of White's head but White avoids it well.
White dodges the ground and pound from Weaver.

Weaver tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but White defends well and Weaver ends up having to push White into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Weaver jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as White walks away with a smile on his face. Weaver gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

White lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Weaver sprawling to the canvas. White follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Weaver hang on?

White gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Oh Weaver is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
White moves away from the strike by Weaver.
and White counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Weaver! He's just covering up as White starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
