Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Abdul Jcool! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shane Fitzpatrick ! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jcool closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fitzpatrick to the mat! Fitzpatrick manages to get full guard. Fitzpatrick looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Jcool wants to control from the top but Fitzpatrick keeps moving. Jcool slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Jcool trying to control the action but Fitzpatrick is working from the bottom. Jcool in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Fitzpatrick is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Abdul Jcool! Abdul Jcool decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
