Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stanley Steele (ranked 635 p4p, 596 weight class) and Ryszard Wojcik (ranked 87 p4p, 81 weight class). Steele's entrance music is Manowar - Heart of Steel. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wojcik needs to keep his hands up - Steele had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Ryszard Wojcik has been cut.
Wojcik throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Steele stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The fight stays on the outside here - Steele looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wojcik bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Steele throws out a loose jab but Wojcik uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Wojcik holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

and Wojcik makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Steele stalks Wojcik and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wojcik's face. Wojcik staggers backwards, shaken.
Wojcik connects with a body shot that sends Steele's belly button to the back.
Steele throws a sloppy head kick and Wojcik moves out of range easily.
Wojcik looks to score with a jab to the body but Steele is just out of range.

Wojcik uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Steele.

Steele lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

A looping hook to the body misses from Wojcik. Steele does a little dance to reset his feet.
Steele is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Steele throws an overhand right that lands on Wojcik's shoulder, as Wojcik tries to avoid the shot.
Steele's jab looks to have found its range, popping Wojcik under the eye.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Steele takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
