The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heimler misses with an uppercut
and Castro counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Heimler controlling the position for now.
Heimler tries to roll over but Castro keeps him under control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heimler wants to get back to full guard.

Heimler lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Castro backwards.

It looks like Ale Castro has been cut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Heimler creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Oh Castro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Heimler makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Heimler pushes Castro against the cage and as Castro bounces back, Heimler cracks him with a massive overhand right that sends him crashing to the mat! Heimler follows up with more strikes but Castro was out from that first, devastating punch! Wow!

After the fight, Krzysztof Heimler was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
