1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Pat O Brien! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St Pierre keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. O Brien looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! St Pierre looking for a takedown here - he's got it. St Pierre controls from within his opponent's guard. St Pierre tries to free his leg and advance position but O Brien is retaining full guard. St Pierre is looking to work some ground and pound but O Brien has wrist control. St Pierre slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. St Pierre works over O Brien with some ground and pound from guard. St Pierre is looking to work some ground and pound but O Brien has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. St Pierre wants to stand but O Brien is controlling his posture from full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. O Brien wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and St Pierre is now in half guard. St Pierre is nestled in close to O Brien, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. St Pierre lands with a punch from half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. St Pierre connects with a nice short shot to O Brien's temple. St Pierre working O Brien over with strikes. St Pierre works his way into side control. St Pierre is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down O Brien's shoulder. That is not cool. St Pierre's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. St Pierre advances to mount. St Pierre controlling the position easily from mount. O Brien is bucking up trying to escape but St Pierre cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. St Pierre takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. St Pierre working the ground and pound effectively.
O Brien taking shots to the head. St Pierre sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. O Brien tries to hold on but St Pierre pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. St Pierre controlling his opponent.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Leornardo St Pierre just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. St Pierre drives through and clinches with O Brien against the cage.
St Pierre has O Brien pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. St Pierre pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending O Brien tumbling to the mat - St Pierre dives into O Brien's guard. St Pierre stays in close to O Brien's body and controls the position. St Pierre drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and St Pierre jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. O Brien not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

O Brien misses with a takedown and St Pierre counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for O Brien! St Pierre looking to control and managing it successfully. St Pierre has hold of O Brien's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and O Brien manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's one minute gone in the round. St Pierre working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. O Brien turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips St Pierre off and cradles O Brien's limp body as St Pierre celebrates with his corner.
