Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Valla!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magamedov gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Valla pulls guard successfully.
Valla had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Magamedov defends it easily.
Valla is trying to control the position but Magamedov postures up.
Magamedov is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Magamedov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Magamedov seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Valla for as long as he can get away with.

Valla is trying to control the position but Magamedov postures up.

Magamedov gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
A combination from Magamedov does no damage.
Magamedov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Valla tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Magamedov is in Valla's guard.

Magamedov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Valla has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Magamedov has managed to get both his arms back between Valla's legs - danger averted.

Magamedov stands up from Valla's guard - Magamedov perhaps looking for a knockout.

Magamedov cracks Valla with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Magamedov scores with a big shot! Valla's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Valla! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
