Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zombie Welterweight (ranked 4419 p4p, 5846 weight class) and Konrad Landherr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Konrad Landherr is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zombie Welterweight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Konrad Landherr!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landherr rushes Welterweight and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Welterweight is trying to trip Landherr. He has hold of a leg but Landherr is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Welterweight persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Landherr is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Welterweight closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Landherr quickly recovers to half guard.

Welterweight is nestled in close to Landherr, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Landherr is looking for a sweep. Welterweight is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Welterweight connects with a nice short shot to Landherr's temple.

Welterweight scores with a big shot! Landherr's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Landherr! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
