This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 31 wins and 31 losses; Prana Halo! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 12 losses; Disco Kid!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Halo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kid is fending him off so far but Halo persists. Nope, Kid circles away and we're back to standing.
Halo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Kid is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Halo with him. Halo is trying to defend but Kid has an arm under the chin now! Halo grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Disco Kid was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
