This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 20 wins and 34 losses; Ruben Gracie! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 6 losses; Jacque Joteel!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Joteel clinches up with Gracie and pushes him back against the cage.
Joteel gets control of Gracie's arms and successfully pulls guard. Joteel will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
