Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kaven May Jr (ranked 4214 p4p, 3812 weight class) and Ferdinand Alexander Marcos (ranked 478 p4p, 445 weight class). May Jr kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is HonestKey- Self Discovery. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kaven May Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ferdinand Alexander Marcos! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marcos lands a jab to the nose. May Jr takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. May Jr definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Marcos misses the shot to the body. No joy there for Marcos, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Marcos lands a nice looking body shot.
May Jr scores with a push kick. May Jr throws a leg kick which misses Marcos's front leg but catches the back leg as Marcos tries to avoid it. May Jr fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Marcos. Marcos chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before May Jr can pounce on him.
Marcos tries to clinch but May Jr moves out of range. May Jr lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Marcos on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. This has been an exciting period of action! Marcos thows a left - swing and a miss! May Jr half committed to a counter leg kick. May Jr moves into the clinch successfully.
May Jr swings wildly with an uppercut but Marcos uses good head movement to avoid it. Still in the clinch, May Jr scores with a nice short uppercut. May Jr can't find room to land a body shot as Marcos controls the action.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. May Jr displaying some good clinch control by pressing Marcos up against the cage. A shot in the inside from May Jr. A head punch blocked on the inside by Marcos. May Jr lands with a short head shot on the inside. May Jr lands a right hand that snaps the head of Marcos backwards. Marcos throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. May Jr lands a body punch in the clinch. Marcos misses with a body punch.
May Jr tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Marcos goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
That's two minutes gone in the round. May Jr pressing his opponent against the cage. May Jr blocks a punch to the side of the head.
May Jr tries to throw a body punch but Marcos avoids it by throwing May Jr back against the cage. May Jr takes a shot to the head. May Jr lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Marcos or not. May Jr throws a head punch that misses. May Jr struggles to land a body shot inside as Marcos controls his hands.

Marcos misses with some punches.
May Jr swings away with an uppercut that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. May Jr lands with a short head shot on the inside. May Jr lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. The referee calls for May Jr to work.
Marcos blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
May Jr fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A short uppercut from May Jr. Marcos tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. May Jr pulls guard effortlessly. May Jr is looking for a triangle but Marcos pushes his legs off easily.
Marcos postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marcos controls the pace of the fight for a moment. May Jr trying to keep a closed guard but Marcos is proving a slippery customer.
Marcos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with May Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. There's a bit of a scramble here and now May Jr is on top in guard.
Marcos is trying to hold May Jr in close to prevent damage but May Jr has managed to pass into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. May Jr is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Marcos sees it coming and defends easily. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Marcos can do anything to dispel that myth. May Jr seems to be looking for submissions.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kaven May Jr dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Marcos tries to close the distance and clinch up but May Jr swats him away and circles back towards the center. Marcos chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before May Jr can pounce on him.
Marcos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
May Jr half committed to a counter leg kick. May Jr looks to land a left hand but Marcos moved out of range nicely. Ferdinand Alexander Marcos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. May Jr jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Marcos throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
May Jr takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
May Jr lands a nice looking kick to the body. Marcos takes a step back to recover. Nice uppercut lands for May Jr. That snapped Marcos's head back.
Marcos throws an off balance right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. May Jr turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Marcos takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Marcos throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kaven May Jr is winning the standup battle so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Marcos throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ferdinand Alexander Marcos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. May Jr throws a head kick that half lands.
May Jr throws a head kick that Marcos semi-blocks.
A nice inside leg kick there by May Jr. That's going to slow Marcos down. May Jr bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. May Jr is looking for a counter combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marcos throws a looping overhand right but May Jr ducks down to avoid it. May Jr appears to be looking for a big counter. Marcos defending well as May Jr loads up on a big left hand. A chopping leg kick lands by May Jr. May Jr lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Marcos on the wrong end of a nice jab. Marcos takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. May Jr displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Marcos is rocked! May Jr cracks Marcos with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Marcos tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but May Jr pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Marcos is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kaven May Jr! Kaven May Jr decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
