Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 28 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ron Austin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mario Betiskuda! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Betiskuda tries to sprawl but Austin drives through with a takedown into half guard. Austin wants to free his trapped foot but Betiskuda is holding on for dear life with his legs. Austin is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Betiskuda! Austin wants to finish this one by submission but Betiskuda is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Austin. Betiskuda should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Austin is looking to work his way around to Betiskuda's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Austin working for a submission but Betiskuda is keeping him at bay. Austin works his way to his opponent's back.
Betiskuda really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Austin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Austin is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Betiskuda taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Austin.
