With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jean Christ!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang moves to clinch but Christ breaks away
and Christ counters with a left and a right that stings Wang.
Christ is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wang's half guard.
Christ is just content to waste time from the top position. Wang takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wang holds on and takes a little breather.
Wang working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Christ doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Wang is tightening it up a little... Christ has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Christ reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Christ taps out! Nice BJJ there by Wang!
