Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Judge Dred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dred comes into the arena with No Easy Way Out blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Rogers!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers clinches.
Rogers breaks from the clinch.
Dred shoots in for a takedown but Rogers shows good takedown defense.
Dred shoots in looking for a takedown. Rogers tries to sprawl out of it but Dred keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rogers manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dred lunges at Rogers with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Rogers's hand.
Some wild striking there from Dred.
Rogers is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rogers tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dred shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rogers sprawls well. Rogers wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dred gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Judge Dred. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dred lands a nice hook to Rogers's body. Rogers takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Rogers tries to clinch there but Dred circles away.

Rogers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dred swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dred has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rogers avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Rogers swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Dred.
Rogers lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Dred backwards.
Dred has Rogers pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rogers manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Dred has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rogers is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Rogers makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Rogers manages to break the clinch.
Danga de danga de dang - Rogers scores with a four punch combination!
Dred misses with a hook. Rogers ducked under it nicely.
Rogers moves into the clinch.
Rogers lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Rogers has a couple of punches blocked by Dred.
Dred fails to pull guard.
Dred can't get the takedown.
Rogers lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Dred backwards.
Rogers stops a takedown attempt from Dred.
Dred is breathing heavily.
Rogers tries to land knees in the clinch but Dred avoids the damage to the body.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rogers creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Dred is rocked!
Rogers breaks from the clinch.
Oh Dred is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rogers doesn't manage to clinch there - Dred circles away.
Rogers wants to clinch up but Dred keeps it at a distance.
Dred seems to have got his legs back now.
Dred misses with a combination
and Rogers counters with a left and a right that stings Dred.
Jab from Dred.

Rogers tries to close the distance and clinch but Dred swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dred tries for a takedown but Rogers sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Rogers closes the distance and pushes Dred back into the cage.
Rogers swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A short uppercut from Rogers.
Dred blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A right hand to the body from Rogers.
Dred goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rogers prevents it.
Rogers lands with a short shot to the head.
Rogers creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Dred with a big uppercut! Dred tries to clinch up but Rogers pushes him back against the cage and lands another moster strike that crumples Dred to the mat! Dred covers up and Rogers unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
