Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mertis Falandas (ranked 1651 p4p, 1894 weight class) and Daniel Gable (ranked 220 p4p, 256 weight class). Falandas comes to the cage accompanied by Feed the Machine. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Gable!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gable misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

It looks like Daniel Gable has been cut.

Well, with Gable on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Falandas is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Gable is persistently looking for the submission but Falandas is defending it well.

Falandas is having to fend off submission attempts from Gable, who is looking to sink in the choke. Gable doesn't have the hooks in though and Falandas manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
