Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jugo Fury (ranked 1817 p4p, 3273 weight class) and Rodrigo Medeiros (ranked 278 p4p, 457 weight class). Fury comes to the cage accompanied by Pigface by Greyhoundz. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Medeiros throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
It looked like Fury was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Medeiros.
Fury closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fury lands in his opponent's guard.
Fury working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Fury makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Medeiros is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fury lands a couple of decent looking shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fury postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Medeiros tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fury wants to control from the top but Medeiros keeps moving.
Fury keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Medeiros's head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Medeiros has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fury can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

A big shot lands for Fury! That's hurt Medeiros! Will he recover? Fury fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

A determined Jugo Fury didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
