Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jamie Newman!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newman shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Scato is not content to let Newman control the position.

Scato escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Newman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Scato drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Newman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Scato has Newman in his guard.

Newman's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Scato is holding on here and Newman must be using up a lot of energy. Scato has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Newman gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
