The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shredder looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sekera stuns Shredder with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Shredder misses with a takedown

and Sekera moves into the clinch.
Shredder has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sekera avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Pavel Sekera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Shredder.

Shredder fails with the takedown.
Shredder gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sekera makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Shredder dives in and grabs Sekera's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sekera pushes down on Shredder's head and hops out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sekera shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sekera showed some decent athleticism there.
Sekera moves nicely into side control.
Shredder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sekera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Shredder is trying to improve his position.

Sekera has isolated one of Shredder's arms. Shredder looking to fight him off but Sekera twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
