Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tristan Tofan!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tofan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nasium circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tofan.

Nasium drives through and clinches with Tofan against the cage.
Nasium avoiding damage.
Nasium lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tofan backwards.
Tofan has Nasium pressed against the cage, preventing Nasium from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Tofan jumps guard but Nasium turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Horrible takedown attempt by Tofan or perhaps it was just good defense by Nasium, which made it look bad.

It looked like Nasium was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

and Nasium counters with a series of strikes. Tofan will be more careful next time no doubt.

Nasium fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tofan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Nasium is trying to break the clinch but Tofan has him pressed against the cage.

Nasium pulls guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nasium is on top in guard.


Nasium stands up from Tofan's guard - Nasium perhaps looking for a knockout.
Jim Nasium seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Nasium moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Tofan dives in for a single leg takedown but Nasium sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Tofan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nasium moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jim Nasium is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tofan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Nasium counters with a three punch combo that has Tofan backing up. Tofan nods at Nasium to acknowledge the strikes.
Tofan wants to clinch up but Nasium keeps it at a distance.
Nasium fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Nasium has closed the distance and engaged Tofan in a clinch.

Nasium pushes Tofan off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Nasium feints a jab promting Tofan to slip. Nasium then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tofan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Nasium fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Nasium looks to land a combination. Tofan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Nasium gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Nasium tries to break free but Tofan pushes him back against the cage.
Nasium has had enough of the clinch but Tofan keeps him there for the moment.
Nasium stalls.
Tofan trying to stall but Nasium improves his position.
Nasium blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Tofan prevents Nasium from breaking the clinch.

Nasium wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Nasium looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Nasium wants to get back to striking at distance but Tofan won't allow it.

Tofan tries to counter by closing the distance.
Tofan dives in and grabs Nasium's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nasium pushes down on Tofan's head and hops out.

Tofan shoots in and bounces Nasium off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
