Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monty Don (ranked 1662 p4p, 2581 weight class) and Oaza Madero (ranked 71 p4p, 89 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Monty Don! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Oaza Madero! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Madero misses with a right hand and Don cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Madero misses with a shot to the body and Madero takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Madero lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Madero paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Don gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Madero counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Don keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Madero. Madero throws a predictable looking body shot
and Don cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Madero misses with a straight left. Madero moves forwards but Don connects with a nice, crisp jab. Madero takes a jab right on the kisser.
Oaza Madero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Madero misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Madero scores with a punch to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Madero misses the jab. Don changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Madero looks to land a left hand but Don moved out of range nicely. Madero shoots in for a takedown but Don shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Don misses with a takedown attempt - Madero sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Madero's jab looks to have found its range, popping Don under the eye. Don takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Madero connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Madero lands a jab. Don thows a left - swing and a miss! Madero changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Madero manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Don on his heels. He'll look to pass Don's guard now, I'm sure. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Madero lands a couple of decent looking shots. Don looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Madero is in close to Don's body, working some short punches and elbows. Madero trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Don working for a triangle but Madero defends it easily.
Madero won't allow Don to sweep him here. Madero lands a couple of digs. Don has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Madero can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Madero landing with the ground and pound. Madero with a nice head shot there. Don keeping moving, preventing Madero from controlling successfully. Madero distracts Don with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Don trying to control the position.
Madero throwing strikes from guard but Don blocks nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Madero scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Madero lands a couple of decent looking shots. Madero trying to control but Don is working from the bottom. Madero postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Don throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Don is rocked! Madero lands a couple of decent looking shots. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Madero postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Madero content to stall in guard here. Madero working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Don's head. Oh Don is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Madero wants to control from the top but Don keeps moving. Don seems to have got his legs back now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Madero scoring with punches to the head and body. Madero postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Don's head off the mat! Don is out! He's out! Madero jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Oaza Madero!
