The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

McCain fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Siam to the ground. McCain is now in Siam's guard.

Siam pulls McCain in close to prevent any damage.
McCain controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Siam seems keen to control McCain's posture.
McCain stopping the sweep attempt from Siam.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Siam can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McCain controls the pace.

We've been hearing good reports from Siam's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Siam is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McCain's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McCain's back!

A bit of a pause in the action here. Siam controlling the positon.
McCain trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.

Siam has good solid back control here.

Siam seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down McCain for as long as he can get away with.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Siam's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
McCain has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

McCain is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Siam controlling the position well here. McCain rolled but Siam kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Siam tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

McCain is working to get back to half guard.
