Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nino Babel (ranked 1222 p4p, 1803 weight class) and Jah Kid (ranked 144 p4p, 209 weight class). Kid has chosen Walk - Pantera as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Nino Babel has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babel on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Kid shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Kid wants to pass the guard but Babel is keeping the position.
Babel is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kid defends well.
Kid trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Babel is trying to control the position but Kid postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Babel is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Babel has his foot on Kid's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kid works his way back into a safe position though.

Kid is fighting to break Babel's control of his arms but Babel is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Kid stands and throws Babel's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Babel has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Babel is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kid is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Babel is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kid off and has taken his back!

Kid felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Babel doesn't have the hooks in and Kid manages to turn into his guard.

Kid got a little sloppy there for a moment and Babel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kid has managed to get both his arms back between Babel's legs - danger averted.

Kid tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kid has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Babel manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Kid is looking for a sweep. Babel is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Babel is trying for a kimura here. Kid looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Babel wins by kimura!

A less than humble Nino Babel misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Jah Kid was interviewed post fight and said 'Its easy to win when your cheating'.
