This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 27 wins and 17 losses; Muhammad Jabbar! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 15 losses; Ken Vrjalya! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Jabbar keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jabbar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Jabbar (2) vs (0) Vrjalya Vrjalya works his way to full guard. Good work. Vrjalya looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jabbar is one step ahead there. Vrjalya is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jabbar won't allow Vrjalya to sweep him here.

Vrjalya reaches up and pulls Jabbar towards him, trying to control the position. Jabbar manages to get a guillotine from the mount though! This could be big trouble for Vrjalya! Vrjalya tries to roll over - now Jabbar is on the bottom but the guillotine is really deep and Vrjalya has to tap out! Great work there by Jabbar!
