Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gaven Mcqueen (ranked 5939 p4p, 4342 weight class) and Hyu Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Head has chosen Eye of the tiger as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Head.
Mcqueen feinted with a counter takedown.

Head gets caught flat footed, as Mcqueen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Head keeping full guard, as Mcqueen tries to pass.
Mcqueen throws a strike but Head rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Head passes Mcqueen 's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Head is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcqueen manages to get to full guard.
Head trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Head trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcqueen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Head is working for a kimura but Mcqueen is defending it quite comfortably.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mcqueen tries to roll over but Head keeps him under control.

Head is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mcqueen is just riding it out for now. Head eventually gives up the hold.
Head is looking to take a break and control but Mcqueen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Head looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Mcqueen flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Head is trying for a kimura here. Mcqueen looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Head wins by kimura!

Hyu Head decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
