And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 3 losses; Drake Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Feet shoots in and drives through. Johnson sprawls well.
Johnson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Feet to the ground. Johnson is now in Feet's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Feet (0) vs (2) Johnson
Johnson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Feet has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Johnson has managed to get both his arms back between Feet's legs - danger averted.
Johnson drops back looking for a leg! Feet is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Feet manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into Feet's guard.
Feet looking for a guillotine here but Johnson defends easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Feet has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Johnson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Feet has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Johnson is looking to defend but Feet has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Johnson! Feet pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Johnson taps out and this one is all over!

A very excited looking Seemah Feet rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. |
