Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kolo Ransom (ranked 6369 p4p, 5129 weight class) and Jurgen Christ (ranked 492 p4p, 466 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kolo Ransom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jurgen Christ!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christ leaves Ransom with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Christ manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ransom on his heels. He'll look to pass Ransom's guard now, I'm sure.
Ransom controls Christ momentarily but Christ frees himself.
Christ stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ransom swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Christ preventing the sweep.
Christ trying to control but Ransom is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Christ is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ransom is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ransom has escaped and now he's on top!
Christ is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ransom wants to pass the guard but Christ is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Christ is trying to control the position but Ransom postures up.
Ransom trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Ransom drops back looking for a leg! Christ is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Christ manages to kick Ransom off! Ransom jumps back into Christ's guard.
Christ pushes a forearm under Ransom's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ransom is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jurgen Christ!
