Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ernie Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Enrico Cammula!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cammula shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stone manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Cammula slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Cammula scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
It looks like Ernie Stone has been cut.
Cammula cracks Stone with a solid left hand.
Stone throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Cammula is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Cammula with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Cammula looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cammula chips away with some ground and pound.
Cammula keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Stone's head.
Cammula has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Stone can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cammula controls the pace.
Cammula passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stone tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Stone is working to avoid the ground and pound but Cammula connects with a decent elbow.
Stone is rocked!
The referee asks Cammula politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Cammula prefers to stall for the moment though.
It looks like Cammula might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Cammula crunches a massive hammerfist down on Stone - he's out! Cammula Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Enrico Cammula!
