Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo DeAngelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vin Crusher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crusher circles away from the clinch attempt.
DeAngelo clinches up with Crusher and pushes him back against the cage. DeAngelo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
DeAngelo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Crusher just stands there and leans against the cage. Crusher has picked DeAngelo up - he's going for a ride! Crusher dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. DeAngelo trying to hold on to Crusher's head to control him but Crusher postures up.
DeAngelo wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crusher decides to return to a standing position. DeAngelo fails with an attempt to clinch.
DeAngelo misses with a head kick.
DeAngelo clinches with his opponent.
Crusher breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. DeAngelo is looking to clinch. A thudding body kick lands there by DeAngelo!
DeAngelo tries to clinch there but Crusher circles away.
DeAngelo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Crusher circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. DeAngelo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Crusher as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leonardo DeAngelo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crusher keeps DeAngelo at a distance using the push kick. Crusher stuffs the takedown attempt from DeAngelo. DeAngelo gets slowly back to his feet. Crusher scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. DeAngelo is breathing heavily. DeAngelo is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Crusher tries to advance to mount but can't. Crusher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with DeAngelo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Crusher wants to lay and pray for a moment but DeAngelo keeps working. DeAngelo struggling a bit here. Crusher working the ground and pound but DeAngelo is defending the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crusher works to advance to full mount. DeAngelo defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Crusher has control of DeAngelo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and DeAngelo regains control of the situation pretty easily.
DeAngelo is trying to escape the mount.
Crusher goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now DeAngelo is on top in guard.
DeAngelo stands up from guard. Let's bang! Crusher shoots and misses and DeAngelo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! DeAngelo landing some decent shots from guard. Crusher wants to stand and escape but DeAngelo is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. DeAngelo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Crusher is keeping the position for now. Crusher is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. DeAngelo blocking the ground and pound attempt from Crusher. Crusher controlling the action here. DeAngelo is trying to stand back up but Crusher is controlling him
DeAngelo tries to roll over but Crusher keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. DeAngelo looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Crusher with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Crusher works his way into full mount! Crusher working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Crusher is standing up, even though he is in mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. DeAngelo throws a right and a left that Crusher avoids nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Vin Crusher will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Crusher lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. DeAngelo with a poor takedown and Crusher counters with a shoot takedown. DeAngelo fights it but they end up in guard. Crusher trying to control but DeAngelo is working from the bottom. DeAngelo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Crusher manages to get himself to full guard.

DeAngelo wants to control from the top but Crusher keeps moving. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. DeAngelo landing some decent shots from guard. DeAngelo works a leg free and moves into half guard.

It looks like DeAngelo is going to stand back up.
Crusher has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. DeAngelo is working away from the top position though. DeAngelo controlling the pace. Crusher is trying to stand up here but DeAngelo is controlling him well. Crusher trying to control but DeAngelo postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Crusher shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Crusher trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. DeAngelo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Crusher controls the pace. Crusher would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. DeAngelo throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Crusher escapes and throws DeAngelo's legs to the side, diving into side control! Crusher tries to advance to mount but DeAngelo denies him. Crusher wants to control but DeAngelo is keeping him busy. Crusher lands a decent elbow from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crusher has knee on belly momentarily but DeAngelo bucks him off and regains half guard. DeAngelo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Crusher. Crusher is thwarting DeAngelo's attempts to control the position. DeAngelo works his way to full guard. Good work. Crusher looking to pass the guard. Crusher wants to control from the top but DeAngelo keeps moving. Crusher would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. DeAngelo keeping full guard, as Crusher tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Crusher advances to half guard. DeAngelo wants to improve his position but Crusher is controlling well.
Crusher content to control rather than advance. Crusher stands up out of the half guard. Crusher drives through and clinches with DeAngelo against the cage.

DeAngelo trying to control but Crusher is working from the bottom. DeAngelo chips away with some ground and pound. DeAngelo has gone for a leg lock! Crusher slips out almost immediately though and dives into DeAngelo's guard. Crusher stands up and waves to DeAngelo to follow him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vin Crusher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

DeAngelo throws an elbow but it misses.
DeAngelo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Crusher pulls him back up using the underhooks. Crusher gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from DeAngelo.
Crusher tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. DeAngelo just stands there and leans against the cage. Crusher breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. DeAngelo doesn't succeed with the takedown and Crusher counters into the clinch. Nicely done. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leonardo DeAngelo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crusher is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Crusher takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Crusher prevents the takedown attempt.

DeAngelo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Crusher fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Crusher wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and DeAngelo is now in half guard. DeAngelo escapes and gets back to his feet. Crusher scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. DeAngelo missing with punches from the bottom.

Still in half guard, Crusher seems content to control. DeAngelo is defending against the submission attempts here by Crusher.
Crusher is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Vin Crusher has got the better of the ground game so far. DeAngelo trying to control from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Crusher doesn't succeed with the takedown and DeAngelo counters with a good low kick that Crusher was not able to check. A head kick misses from DeAngelo. DeAngelo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Crusher decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Crusher throws a series of punches but DeAngelo avoids them all with ease. DeAngelo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Crusher sprawls well initially but DeAngelo persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Crusher is looking to improve his position.

Crusher tries to kick DeAngelo off but DeAngelo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. DeAngelo is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Crusher wants to control the action here but instead DeAngelo manages to pass to full mount! DeAngelo manages to capitalize on a mistake by Crusher to take his back! Crusher controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. DeAngelo is not going to allow Crusher to sit and survive in this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. DeAngelo has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Crusher has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Crusher tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Crusher is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. DeAngelo looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Crusher is squirming around, avoiding DeAngelo's attempts to control the action. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Crusher taking shots to the head. Leonardo DeAngelo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Crusher is rocked! DeAngelo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Crusher looks a forlorn figure.
And that's the end of the fight! Leonardo DeAngelo showed his dominance in that final round. Well Crusher has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
