Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hamez Rodriguez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sdads Sads!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sads gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Rodriguez counters with a three punch combo that has Sads backing up. Sads nods at Rodriguez to acknowledge the strikes.
Sads doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rodriguez counters with a two punch combo.
Sads takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Sads is rocked!
Rodriguez feints with a jab and clips Sads right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Sads is sent crashing into the canvas and Rodriguez leaps in for the kill! Sads tries to get to his feet but Rodriguez is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Sads is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hamez Rodriguez!
