Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 24349 p4p, 24697 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Nada throws a body kick that misses. Nada looking to score a takedown here. Libat is defending well but Nada drives through and ends up in Libat's guard. Libat being controlled here, momentarily. Nada trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Libat is trying to control the position but Nada postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nada sitting in guard here, content to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nada won't allow Libat to sweep him here. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Libat keeping moving, preventing Nada from controlling successfully.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Nada shoots in for a takedown but Libat shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Libat throws a big counter combination but Nada scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Nada looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Libat! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Libat tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Nada has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Libat can't do much from the bottom here.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Libat stuffs the takedown. And Libat counters with a quick kick to the body but Nada blocks it. Excellent takedown into side control there by Nada. Libat is trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nada wants to lay and pray for a moment but Libat keeps working. Libat wants to control but Nada postures up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Libat is letting Nada control him for a moment. Libat tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Way Nada dominated that round. That's time! Libat's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Nada shoots in for a takedown but Libat shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. And Libat counters with a quick kick to the body but Nada blocks it. Nada fails miserably with a takedown attempt. It appears Libat was looking to counter with a kick there. Libat shoots in for a double leg but Nada sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat shoots in looking for a takedown. Nada tries to sprawl out of it but Libat keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nada manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Libat dives in for a single leg takedown but Nada sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Higanti Libat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Libat has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Nada clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Nada trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Libat is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Nada just trying to survive but Libat is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Way Nada has got the better of the ground game so far.

Libat's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Libat lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Nada turns into Libat and is now in his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nada wants to control from the top but Libat keeps moving. Nada slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Libat trying to keep a closed guard but Nada is proving a slippery customer.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Higanti Libat dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round! Nada doesn't succeed with the takedown and Libat counters with a body kick. Libat closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Libat in particular looking to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nada is controlling Libat's trapped leg to prevent Libat from advancing to side control.

Libat looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Nada is trying to control but can't.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Libat wants to control but Nada is keeping him busy.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nada displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Libat. And Nada responds with a good body kick, but Libat manages to step out the way in time.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Libat as Nada shoots in. Libat throws a quick counter kick to the body but Nada avoids it. Nada tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Libat defends well and Nada ends up having to push Libat into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Libat half committed to a counter leg kick. Libat looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nada replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Libat blocks it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Nada fails with a takedown attempt. It appears Libat was looking to counter with a kick there. Nada closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Libat's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Higanti Libat showed his dominance in that final round. I think Libat has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
