Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anderi Arlovski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thomas Conway! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick lands from Conway. Arlovski shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Conway manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Conway pulls Arlovski in close to prevent any damage. Conway thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Conway looking for a sweep. Not yet Conway, not yet. Conway looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Arlovski missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Conway has his feet on Arlovski's thighs here. He's pushed Arlovski off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Arlovski screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
