Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Freaky Earl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cj Hallinan!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Earl is looking to score with low kicks.
Earl rushes Hallinan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Earl prevents a takedown attempt there.
Earl stops a takedown attempt from Hallinan.
Earl misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hallinan.
Earl slows down the pace here.
Hallinan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Earl has him pressed against the cage.
Hallinan blocking some punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Earl goes for a takedown attempt but Hallinan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Hallinan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hallinan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Earl. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Earl looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hallinan is one step ahead there.
Earl bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hallinan's guard.

Hallinan wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Earl manages to pass to side control.
Earl is trying to work for a kimura but Hallinan is defending well.

Earl is trying to control. Hallinan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Earl looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Hallinan is refusing to be controlled, as Earl sits in half guard.
Earl throwing shots but Hallinan is blocking nicely.

Earl is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Earl thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Earl definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hallinan tries to lock up and control but Earl gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Hallinan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Earl is working for a guillotine from mount but Hallinan frees his head quite easily.
Earl trying to control but Hallinan is having none of it.

Hallinan tries to hold on but Earl postures up.

Earl goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hallinan turns into him and now he's in Earl's guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hallinan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Freaky Earl dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Hallinan gets caught flat footed, as Earl shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Earl thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hallinan is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hallinan looking for a sweep. Not yet Hallinan, not yet.
Hallinan wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Earl is now in half guard.
Earl trying to control the action but Hallinan is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Earl looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Earl wants to pass to mount but Hallinan is defending the position.

Earl is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hallinan sees it coming and defends easily.
Earl is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Earl is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hallinan can do to turn this around?
Earl throwing strikes here but Hallinan is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Hallinan defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Earl.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Earl trying to control but Hallinan is having none of it.
Hallinan is bucking up trying to escape but Earl cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Earl sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Freaky Earl overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Hallinan reaches up to try and control the position but Earl seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Hallinan rolls and tries to escape and now Earl has his back!
Earl is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Hallinan won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Earl off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Freaky Earl!
