Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roy Crough (ranked 4126 p4p, 3503 weight class) and Jorge Rojas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Crough might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Serbian national anthem. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roy Crough! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jorge Rojas! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crough lands with a nice combination. Rojas backs away looking to recover. Rojas is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Crough.
It looks like Jorge Rojas has been cut. Crough closes the distance and lands a one-two. Rojas staying out of range there. Despite the aggression on Rojas's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Crough misses with a low kick. Crough misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rojas appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Crough looks to land a combination but Rojas avoids it well. Crough backing away here, and Rojas unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Crough throws a series of punches but Rojas avoids them all with ease. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Some wild striking there from Crough.

and Rojas counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rojas pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Crough is keeping the position for now. Rojas passes Crough's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Crough is looking to escape. Rojas wants to pass to mount but Crough is defending the position. Rojas has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Crough is breathing heavily. Rojas looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Rojas moves to take his opponent's back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rojas has his arm under Crough's chin here. Game over son! Rojas squeezes tightly and Crough is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jorge Rojas!
