Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nate Diaz (ranked 4387 p4p, 5478 weight class) and Gabriel Cichero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Diaz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to You take everything i work for. Gabriel Cichero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gabriel Cichero!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz misses with a head kick.
Diaz shoots in looking for a takedown but Cichero manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Diaz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Cichero dodges the punch combination from Diaz.
Cichero is looking for the big counter here.
The fighters circling - Diaz throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Diaz wants to clinch.
Cichero flicks out a counter leg kick but Diaz steps away.
Diaz throws a body punch but Cichero moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diaz misses with a few strikes there.
Diaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cichero moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cichero decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Diaz slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Cichero slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Diaz is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diaz is looking for a sweep. Cichero is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Cichero wants to pass to mount but Diaz is defending the position.
Cichero seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Diaz is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
