Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ray Cartier (ranked 4661 p4p, 3247 weight class) and Flavio Maccaselli (ranked 128 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartier shoots in for a double leg but Maccaselli sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Maccaselli can do anything to dispel that myth.

Cartier is working to tighten his grip on Maccaselli's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Maccaselli has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Cartier is really squeezing tight and eventually Maccaselli passes out! Cartier breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
