Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mamed Chalidov (ranked 4527 p4p, 4444 weight class) and Luca Anacoreta (ranked 514 p4p, 0 weight class). Mamed Chalidov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mamed Chalidov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luca Anacoreta! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anacoreta shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chalidov's guard. Anacoreta showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Let's hope that Anacoreta has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Chalidov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anacoreta on the ground. Chalidov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Anacoreta is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anacoreta not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Anacoreta wants to pass the guard but Chalidov is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anacoreta looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Chalidov gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Anacoreta is stalling in the full guard. Anacoreta stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chalidov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anacoreta works a leg free and moves into half guard. Chalidov wants to control but Anacoreta is keeping busy and won't allow it. Anacoreta controlling the pace. Anacoreta passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Chalidov!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anacoreta controlling the pace for now. Anacoreta fails to take his opponent's back. Anacoreta controlling from mount. Chalidov working to try and regain half guard.
Poor strikes thrown by Anacoreta there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Anacoreta takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chalidov wants to try and get back to his feet. Anacoreta looking to finish Chalidov with some ground and pound. This is bad for Chalidov! Anacoreta takes Chalidov's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Chalidov is in trouble. I would not like to be Chalidov right now.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chalidov has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Anacoreta. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Luca Anacoreta dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Chalidov moves into range and clinches up with Anacoreta. Anacoreta pulls guard successfully.
Anacoreta working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chalidov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Anacoreta is tightening it up a little... Chalidov has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Chalidov reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Chalidov taps out! Nice BJJ there by Anacoreta!
