Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zambosurian Inday (ranked 23952 p4p, 23935 weight class) and Mmm Mmm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mmm Mmm has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 43 - 34 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zambosurian Inday! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 61 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mmm Mmm! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Inday feints and as Mmm raises his hands in defense, Inday changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Inday slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Inday has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mmm throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Mmm being controlled here, momentarily. Inday's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Inday darts in looking for a takedown but Mmm gets double underhooks and turns Inday into the cage. Mmm thinks about the counter body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mmm can't get the takedown.
Mmm gets a trip takedown into half guard. Well, if Mmm is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Inday is trying is best to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mmm passes into side control, despite Inday's attempt to control the position.
Inday managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Mmm.
You can see the frustration on Inday's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Mmm wants to take a breather but Inday manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Mmm.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mmm trying to control the position from guard on top but Inday is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Inday looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. This is a sustained period of stalling by Inday.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Zambosurian Inday will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Mmm looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mmm shoots for a double leg takedown but Inday sprawls well. He's pushed Mmm's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Inday looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Mmm! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Inday moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Inday working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Zambosurian Inday overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Mmm is looking to stand back up but Inday counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Mmm. Mmm controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mmm has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Inday is working away from the top position though. Inday sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mmm is looking to control Inday's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mmm avoid being mounted? Mmm tries to roll over but Inday keeps him under control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Inday thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mmm's head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Zambosurian Inday dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round! Nice takedown defense from Inday. No joy for Mmm on that attempt. Inday shoots for a double leg takedown but Mmm sprawls well. He's pushed Inday's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mmm counters with a body kick. Mmm shoots in for a takedown but Inday shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Inday fails with the takedown and Mmm counters with a left and a right that stings Inday. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Inday closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mmm to the mat! Mmm manages to get full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Inday slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Mmm trying to control the position.
Mmm wants to stand up but Inday is controlling him. Inday looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mmm trying to keep a closed guard but Inday is proving a slippery customer.
Inday engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Inday scores with a kick to the body.
Some bone on bone action there as Mmm checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Mmm replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Inday blocks it well. Inday fails with a takedown attempt. And Mmm responds with a good body kick, but Inday manages to step out the way in time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zambosurian Inday. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Mmm tries to score a power double leg takedown but Inday sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mmm somewhat.
And that's the end of the fight! Zambosurian Inday showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Inday, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
