And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munoz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pappalardi counters with a left to the body.
Pappalardi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at PhoQus Island Training in the buildup to the fight.
Munoz dives in and grabs Pappalardi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pappalardi pushes down on Munoz's head and hops out.
It looked like Pappalardi was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Munoz.
Munoz misses with a takedown
and Munoz takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Felix Pappalardi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Munoz.

Munoz shoots and misses
enabling Pappalardi to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Johnny Munoz has been cut.

and Pappalardi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Munoz thinking.

Pappalardi cracks Munoz with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Pappalardi stuffs the takedown attempt from Munoz. Munoz gets slowly back to his feet.
Pappalardi stuns Munoz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Munoz with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pappalardi to score with a decent uppercut.
That has opened up Johnny Munoz's cut even more.
Pappalardi punishes Munoz's body with a nice straight punch.
Felix Pappalardi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pappalardi cracks Munoz's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Munoz slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Pappalardi can do further damage! This one is done, son!
