Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Huntti Mfer (ranked 4296 p4p, 4400 weight class) and Wild Eri (ranked 473 p4p, 476 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Huntti Mfer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Wild Eri! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Eri swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Mfer throwing a counter right hand but Eri manages to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Eri throws a hook but Mfer blocks it. A little feinted left hand from Mfer on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. letting Mfer counter with a right hand. Mfer lands with an uppercut that bounces Eri off the cage and back into range. Eri looks to throw the jab but Mfer is out of range. Mfer was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lazy left from Mfer finds it's target. Eri misses with a left hand and Mfer counters with a nice uppercut. Mfer throws out a loose jab but Eri uses good head movement to avoid it. Eri throws out a counter right but Mfer avoids it with no problem. Eri throws an overhand right that lands on Mfer's shoulder, as Mfer tries to avoid the shot. Mfer swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Eri. It looked like Mfer wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Eri throws an off balance right hand
and Eri takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Eri might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Mfer cracks Eri with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Eri throws a hook to the side of Mfer's head but Mfer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A little feinted left hand from Mfer on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mfer defending well as Eri loads up on a big left hand. Mfer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Eri. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Mfer's jab looks to have found its range, popping Eri under the eye. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A slow jab from Eri misses its intended target. Mfer was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Huntti Mfer dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Eri misses with a hook. Mfer ducked under it nicely. Eri takes one to the chin there. Mfer tests Eri's chin there with a solid looking shot. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Eri might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Mfer has got the better of the exchanges. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mfer throws the left hand but Eri avoids the punch easily. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Eri! That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Mfer lands with an overhand left. Eri is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mfer. Eri looks to land a left hand but Mfer moved out of range nicely. Eri throws the left hand but Mfer avoids the punch easily. Mfer swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eri moves out of range of the strikes. Eri takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Mfer here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Mfer lands the left hand. It looked like Mfer wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Eri uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mfer. Eri swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Eri scores with a decent looking hook. Eri slips under a jab.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Huntti Mfer. Well Mfer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
