Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clint River (ranked 1947 p4p, 3721 weight class) and Anthony Pemberton (ranked 283 p4p, 495 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pemberton's choice of entrance music: Firestarter - Prodigy. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Clint River !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anthony Pemberton!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
River throws a chopping leg kick but Pemberton manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Pemberton swings and misses with a hook to the body.
River looks to land a right hand but Pemberton moved out of range.
Pemberton has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as River is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Pemberton gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Pemberton throws a lazy right hand but River sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
It appears River was looking to counter with a kick there.
Pemberton lands a glancing blow to the side of River 's head.
River moves away from the strike by Pemberton.
River lands a nice looking body shot.
A solid leg kick lands there for River .
Pemberton feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits River s jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Pemberton misses with a right hand
and River counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Pemberton out cold! What a finish! River is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Clint River !
