The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorvino throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Punch's waist but Punch gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sorvino off to one side.
Sorvino ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mike Punch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Punch stuffs the takedown.
Sorvino shoots for a double leg takedown but Punch sprawls well. He's pushed Sorvino's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Punch rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sorvino moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Punch lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sorvino backs up against the cage.
Oh Sorvino is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Punch will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sorvino is holding his hands too far apart here. Punch throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Sorvino is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
