Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scott Shredder (ranked 6283 p4p, 2973 weight class) and Alexander Rusev (ranked 0 p4p, 387 weight class). Scott Shredder looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Scott Shredder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexander Rusev!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rusev fails with a takedown attempt.
Shredder looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Rusev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shredder tries to avoid it but Rusev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shredder to the ground. Shredder escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rusev shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Rusev passes the guard and advances to mount!
Rusev postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Shredder looks a forlorn figure.
It looks like Scott Shredder has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rusev putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Rusev in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Shredder is rocked!
Rusev postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Shredder in real trouble here! The ref calls for Shredder to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexander Rusev!
