Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bora Khan (ranked 98 p4p, 625 weight class) and Murilo Ninja (ranked 12 p4p, 90 weight class). Khan comes to the cage accompanied by Tim McGraw - Live Like You Were Dying. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ninja looks for a takedown but Khan sprawls well.
Khan misses with a wild body shot.
Ninja misses the jab.
Ninja jabs Khan to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Ninja slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

A nice side step and Ninja releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Khan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ninja manages to avoid it.

Ninja will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ninja walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Khan cracks Ninja with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Khan is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Ninja rushes Khan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Ninja is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Khan can't fight it off and eventually Ninja manages to take the fight to the floor. Khan looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ninja wants to control from the top but Khan keeps moving.

Khan pulls Ninja in close to his closed guard and prevents Ninja from doing any damage or advancing position.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Khan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Ninja throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Khan's waist but Khan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ninja off to one side.

Ninja throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Khan.

Bora Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Murilo Ninja.
Khan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ninja has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Ninja moves out of range of the strikes.
Ninja changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Khan tries to avoid it but Ninja manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Khan to the ground. Khan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Khan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ninja stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

A quick step to the side and Khan tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Ninja is rocked!
Khan lands a brutal uppercut that launches Ninja off his feet! Ninja tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

A very excited looking Bora Khan made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
