Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ding Ding Dong (ranked 4221 p4p, 25559 weight class) and Gaven Mcqueen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ding Ding Dong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gaven Mcqueen ! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ding Dong closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Ding Dong creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mcqueen sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Ding Dong is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mcqueen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Ding Dong thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Ding Dong working away. Mcqueen seems a little lost for a moment, as Ding Dong dominates the positioning. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ding Dong tries to advance to mount but can't. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ding Dong laying and praying for a moment but Mcqueen takes advantage and regains half guard. Mcqueen wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcqueen trying to control from the bottom.
Ding Dong is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Ding Dong is trying to control the action in half guard but Mcqueen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Mcqueen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mcqueen is not content to let Ding Dong control the position. Mcqueen wants to control but Ding Dong is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ding Dong trying to pass the guard but Mcqueen defending well. Ding Dong thows a huge punch but Mcqueen dodges it nicely.
Mcqueen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ding Dong pulls his head out easily. Ding Dong is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ding Dong shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mcqueen pinned against the cage. Mcqueen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Mcqueen throws a head kick but Ding Dong moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcqueen fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Mcqueen goes for a double leg but Ding Dong avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ding Dong continues to drive forward. As Mcqueen looks to move away, Ding Dong throws a big counter combo but Mcqueen just gets out of the way. Ding Dong misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mcqueen throws a right and a left that Ding Dong avoids nicely. Ding Dong looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mcqueen doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Ding Dong closes the distance and lands a one-two. Ding Dong is breathing heavily. Mcqueen drives through with a takedown into guard. Ding Dong keeping full guard, as Mcqueen tries to pass. Mcqueen trying to control the position from guard on top but Ding Dong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ding Dong is trying to control the position but Mcqueen postures up. Mcqueen is looking to stand up but Ding Dong won't let him. Mcqueen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ding Dong seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Ding Dong preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ding Dong shoots in looking for a takedown but Mcqueen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ding Dong's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ding Ding Dong. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ding Dong scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ding Ding Dong will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ding Dong is defended easily by Mcqueen . Mcqueen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mcqueen avoiding damage.
Mcqueen turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mcqueen manages to end up in side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcqueen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Ding Dong is trying to control Mcqueen 's posture but Mcqueen avoids it.

Trouble for Ding Dong! Mcqueen trying to control but Ding Dong is having none of it. Ding Dong slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ding Dong is staying active underneath Mcqueen , who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ding Dong has a hand on Mcqueen 's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Mcqueen takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Mcqueen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ding Dong looks a forlorn figure.
Ding Dong reaches up and holds on to Mcqueen to control the position. Ding Dong regains half guard. Mcqueen seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ding Dong is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Gaven Mcqueen ! In defeat, Ding Ding Dong stepped up to the mic, saying '"Everybody out there know I beat him, I controlled the fight, he was missing, I hit him plenty more times. I beat him.Let me talk something... I want to thank the whole hood who came out here. I love y'all. I did this for the hood, you know I beat that boy.'.
