Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Danny Welbeck (ranked 5496 p4p, 3528 weight class) and TJ Samuel (ranked 0 p4p, 286 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Welbeck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, TJ Samuel !
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Ben Hemmingworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Samuel moves into the clinch.

Welbeck manages to break the clinch.
Welbeck tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Samuel paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Welbeck throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Welbeck looks to score with a jab to the body but Samuel is just out of range.
Welbeck tries to clinch there but Samuel circles away.
Welbeck changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Samuel tries to avoid it but Welbeck manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Samuel to the ground. Samuel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Samuel .
Welbeck tries to control but Samuel manages to take his back.
Samuel lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.

Samuel has got one arm under Welbeck's chin. This could be trouble... Welbeck trying to control the other hand but Samuel gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Welbeck has tapped out! The fight is over!

Danny Welbeck was interviewed post fight and said 'Thank you who have supported me I will come back stronger thank you'.
