Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jayden James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Raymond King!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from King.
King moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
King scores with a head kick. James tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
King looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
James is looking to counter punch.
James shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
King digs a good hook to James's body.
King with a nice cross.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
King's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and King duly obliges.
James is rocked!
Raymond King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King has a takedown stuffed.
A little feinted left hand from James on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
James drops his hands momentarily and King takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
King scores with a one two! James had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
James takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Oh James is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
King lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
King circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! James drops to the canvas, hurt badly! King follows James to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Raymond King!
Raymond King really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Critical Mass Q159 $75 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
