Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jorje Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rennon Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slayer comes into the arena with Otep - Battle Ready blaring out of the sound system. Jorje Slayer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slayer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Silva tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Slayer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Slayer kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Slayer has hold of Silva's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Silva seems comfortable defending it but Slayer has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Silva is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Silva is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Slayer couldn't care less - he's delighted!
